Our Story
'Recover My Kicks' was established in 2020 by Cristiano, a 15 year old boy with a passion for sports. After playing in numerous underprivileged communities, Cristiano recognized the need to provide sports shoes for those who couldn't afford them. Our mission at 'Recover My Kicks' is to distribute lightly used shoes to the economically disadvantaged. We provide soccer, basketball, running, and tennis shoes in numerous sizes. Events are listed monthly.

As Recover My Kicks becomes more well-known across Hudson County, it continues to inspire the next generation of student-athletes to pay it forward. Nayan, a 12-year-old Jersey City student-athlete and sneaker aficionado was especially motivated to contribute to the organization. Having played a number of sports in the tri-state area, Nayan knows, first hand, the importance of having the right sports gear whether you’re on the field, track or court. Nayan is inspired by Cristiano’s efforts to make athletic footwear more accessible to underserved communities and plans to encourage others to support the mission of Recover My Kicks.
